The title of PAM Public Lectures is Electrification Takes Command by Bart Lootsma, Architect. Bart Lootsma is a historian, critic, and curator in the fields of architecture, design, and the visual arts. He is a Professor for Architectural Theory and Head Institute for Architectural Theory, History and Heritage Preservation at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

During the lecture, Bart Lootsma talking about how electrification takes command in the future of design world and the development of technology from the past until now that involve with architecture. Electrification Takes Command is also presented a survey throught current contemporery architecture thinking and practice.
The Power of Imagination
An open house drawn with eyes closed. Undistracted concentration on the feeling the space will have. Learn to appreciate and feel the imaginary space in heart, take in the essence in mind and begin to sketch out the image of the space. I believe everyone are unique, we can feel the sound of our soul and strengthen our creativity.

“A Home is not a House”, by Reyner Banham and François Dallegret, 1965
A house full of services and artificial appliances not a good practice in today's lifestyle. This will only take away the existing soul of the place and fill it with dull soul of space. Today we are relying too much on the artificial things and forget about the house should be rely on the nature environment and what a building should perform. We supposed to be living in the essence of a house with love and nature, not only with the artificial dead soul.

Prof. Bart Lootsma presented the examples from the Austrian avant-garde of the 1960-1970 in which the relationship between the body and architecture plays a central role as “a little world in which the big one holds its try-outs” (Carl Schorske), anticipating current developments.
Gelbes Herz (Yellow Heart) by Haus Rucker showing his creativity and the idea is create concentrated experience in a space that only suitable for two people. The user traverses the threshold of three air rings to arrive in an inner sphere and the centre of the spherical space was made up of soft, air-filled chambers.

The Endless house by Friedrick Kiesler

The initial shape of the Endless House shows a flattened spheroid, which became a basis for his Manifesto of Correalism. The shape of the building would allow ample light to reach every corner of the room without being broken up by corners and interior walls of a conventional building.
The idea of Endless House, "All ends meet in the "Endless" as they meet in life. Life's rhythms are cyclical. All ends of living meet during twenty-four hours, during a week, a lifetime. They touch one another with the kiss of time. They shake hands, stay, say goodbye, return through the same or other doors, come and go through multi-links, secretive or obvious, or through the whims of memory." by Friedrick Kiesler.

The sketches above showing the power of imagination and the creativity of Friedrick Kiesler.
Relationship Nature Experiments in Ecology

One of the interesting topic during the lectures is Relationship Nature Experiments in Ecology. Bart Lootsma talking about the relationship between nature, ecology and architecture.

This image showing that Valley Section of civilazation, development of human to solve and conquer environment problem and demonstrated how ways of life or “natural occupations” such as miner or hunter, emerged from their geographical context. This diagram also called The Transect, a diagram which combines the visual language of architectural cross section and analytical approach borrow from the ecology.
This diagram showing the environment condition change and suggesting the importance of context to both natural and built communities.

Skiing around Innsbruck, this image also showed on his presentation slide, The Olympic Site,1964. Bart Lootsma using this image to show us about the relationship and impact between nature and human activity.
HUNGERBURGBAHN INNSBRUCK

Hungerburgbahn hybrid funicular railway station at Innsbruck, Austria, which connect the city district of Hungerburg to the city center. This futuristic design is done by star architect Zaha Hadid who inspired by an amorphous ice formation.

Bergisel Ski

Landmark of Innsbruck also design by star architect Zaha Hadid. The tower features a restaurant which have a 360 degree views of Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains.

This building in Innsbruck showing that the human activity such as skateboarding, cycling not only can be done in outdoor environment, which also can be done in architecture building.
Architecture is importance for human activity, which can create an activity by following the function of usage and create new sport such as urban sport.

The power of Social Media
Social Media playing an important role to spread the message to the other side of the world. Players can record their show and share it to their friend, connect to each other, faster, easily to learn and get information in everywhere. Social Media also used as advertising media, architecture also need the power of social media.Example, Bergisel Ski design by Zaha Hadid also need social media to tell the world that Innsbruck had a awesome building to attract tourist and ski jumper.
After this PAM lectures, I am more understanding about the relation between architecture, the human body and the nature. Architecture must consider everything, such as human activity, artificial appliance, environment and geography. Every space must have its function and different function of spaces will create different essence. Electrification will take command in future, I believe that there will be better world of architecture and Natural Ecological Balance in the FUTURE.
